The FX3 is an incredibly capable camera for one of its size and if forms the bridge between the A7S III and the FX6. Its compact and lightweight body suitable for handheld, gimbal or drone shooting.

Video

It can film, like it’s big brother the FX6, in outstanding 4K full-frame quality vidio at up to 120o or 1080p at 240p with minimal rolling shutter. Like its cinema line counterparts, it has outstanding low-light capabilities and 15+ stops or dynamic range thanks to its 10.2 megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor and upgraded Bionz XR processor.

Sony boasts that it has unlimited 4k 60fps video recording because of its active and passive cooling. The Five axis in-body stabilization with active mode and ability to stabilize using gyro data and it comes with a top handle that allows you to shoot those low angles. The camera’s ISO sensitivity and image sensor is excellent and allows the ability to film in low light conditions while capturing clear and usable images.

Stills

The FX3 can shoot 12 megapixel raw stills and its long battery life will give you around 580 shots. Its stills capturing is much improved over the A7S III.
